The Cadence Music Video Festival was created to break the cycle where directors rush from one project to the next without ever pausing to celebrate the art they’ve made. Our mission is to give independent filmmakers the recognition they rarely receive from major institutions—highlighting their creativity, vision, and unique voices in music video production.
Join us in Oakland, CA, Summer 2026, as we spotlight the Bay Area’s vibrant community of music video directors while also welcoming powerful works from across the globe. This festival is rooted in the Bay, dedicated to uplifting local talent, culture, and stories—while showcasing how our region’s creativity connects to the wider world of visual storytelling.
